Colonel Igor Zagryadsky, deputy head of the traffic police headquarters in the capital, died in an accident last night. A Lexus RX350, driven by a 56-year-old police officer, collided with a shuttle bus that had stopped at a traffic light. The accident happened on October 16 in Moscow on the Bataysky Passage around 7 p.m.

The protocol reason for the incident was non-compliance with the distance. According to the SHOT source, the doctors who arrived on the scene found that Zagryadsky was in cardiac arrest. However, the policeman’s death was already registered at the hospital, where he was promptly taken away after an accident. It is known that since September 2016 Igor Zagryadsky held the post of deputy chief of the Moscow traffic police.

It is reported that the passengers of the bus, into which Zagryadsky’s car entered, were not injured in the incident.
