Uganda’s Ambassador to Russia Moses Kizige spoke about the plans of his country’s auto industry to develop high-tech exports to our market. What will come of this, says the AvtoVzglyad portal.

— We produce electric vehicles to take care of nature. We have just started, but one day we will export Ugandan electric vehicles to Russia,” the ambassador told RIA Novosti.

He also said Uganda signed an agreement some time ago with the Kama Automobile Plant, which includes the construction of a truck factory. The market for its products will be African countries. Recall that in Uganda, the state-owned company Kiira Motors is engaged in the creation and production of vehicles with electric traction. In addition to electric passenger cars, they produce an electric bus, a hybrid sedan and a diesel bus.
