A “Chinese revolution” took place on the Russian car market. Citizens are buying cars from the Middle Kingdom en masse and large dealer networks have already switched to selling and servicing such cars. However, few people know that such a turn of events will cause serious problems for the owners of Chinamobiles. The AvtoVzglyad portal tells what they are preparing for.

Now even rich people are selling their BMWs and Audis to switch to Chinese cars. They are concerned about the service and the warranty period, because spare parts have become too expensive for the “Germans”, and with the obligations of free repairs, the Europeans now do not run smoothly. The “Chinese” lure with a 3 or 5 year warranty!

But don’t be happy. Such long periods of “charm” only apply to large components and assemblies, such as a cylinder block or transmission shafts. But for fuel injectors, for example, they are limited to 60,000 kilometers. And despite the fact that Asians allow the use of 92nd gasoline in supercharged engines! So only fill in the 95th and clean the nozzles regularly. Otherwise, problems are unavoidable.

As for the body, the thickness of the paintwork of Chinese cars is small. That is, paint chips are guaranteed for every driving style. And if they are not painted over, corrosion and rust will immediately appear. Therefore, many drivers stick a protective film on the hood and make it anti-corrosion, which leads to additional costs.

Body parts themselves are not cheap. Sometimes they even cost more than the “body” of “folk” German cars such as the Volkswagen Polo or Opel Astra. And the “prices” for head optics, hoods and fenders for some Chinese models can be 1.5 times more expensive than the same parts for “Europeans”. It is not surprising that insurers often scrap cars from China after a serious accident. Simply because the repair costs are skyrocketing.

In addition, owners of new cars are increasingly faced with a shortage of spare parts. For example, the car did not return from repair for two weeks at a large dealer: they could not repair the air conditioning. Necessary parts were not in stock. It happened that parts waited two months!

Let’s not forget about the patented function of all “heavenly” manufacturers – to carry out restyling quickly and often. As a result, we get different versions of the same parts, which may not be suitable for a particular car. As a result, the dealer has to order a new part, which leads to a loss of time.

By the way, delays in deliveries are due to the fact that Chinese companies have not yet acquired major logistics centers in Russia. If the state of affairs does not change in the near future, car owners risk a shortage of components. It is already difficult to find individual interior details and electrics. And then there will be much misery.
