7 most liquid three-year-old foreign cars on the secondary market
It is not without reason that many car owners consider purchasing a car under three years old as an alternative to a new car. Firstly, such a copy is cheaper; secondly, often in excellent technical condition and, finally, often also under warranty. Which of the models are the most popular, the AvtoVzglyad portal found out.

At the end of the third quarter of 2022, three-year used car sales grew nearly 30% compared to the same period last year and 72% compared to the second quarter. As analysts of the Avito Auto platform told the AvtoVzglyad portal, almost 12% of all second-hand sales fell to “three-year-olds” stock.

And if the absolute leaders, as expected, were the crafts of the Volga Automobile Plant with an indicator of 16.2% of the total sales volume of the “secondary” three-year, then among foreign cars the Korean Kia won the palm, a share of 12.7 percent in the segment.

The Japanese Toyota (10.7%) is catching up, and again, the Korean Hyundai is breathing in its back – 10.4%. It is noteworthy that next in demand are the models of the German BMW, with 5.4% in the three-year “recyclable” sector.

The lowest average check for a three-year-old foreign car was obtained by Hyundai – 1,695,000 rubles, and the highest, as you might guess, is from BMW. On average, the Russians pay 5,600,000 rubles for the Bavarians. At the same time, the German premium is as far from liquidity as Europe is from Russian gas. What can not be said about the Koreans and the Japanese, whose models lose much more slowly, both in price and in popularity among the mass consumer.

The most popular Asian among three-year-olds was Hyundai Solaris, accounting for nearly 4% of total sales in the segment. From month to month, the prices for the model only increase, but the demand does not decrease. The average price for a car is 1,280,000 rubles. The second most popular was the Toyota Camry sedan (3.3%) with an average bill of 2,850,000 rubles. And Korea’s Kia Rio rounded out the top three most popular cars three years ago with a 3% share of sales in the foreign car sector. On average, “Rio” is traded for 1,300,000 rubles.

Slightly less in demand is the German Volkswagen Polo (2.9%), which is usually sold and bought for 1,200,000 “wooden”, and 2.2% is secured by the Hyundai Creta crossover with a weighted average price tag of 1,680 .000 reinforced Russian banknotes. The TOP-7 is topped by Kia Sportage (2,620,000 rubles) with a share of 1.6% and the Czech Skoda Rapid (1.5%) with an average cost of 1,300,000 rubles.
