According to the results of the survey, 63% of Russian car owners drive a car that is older than six years. Nearly half of those – 33% – operate transport between the ages of seven and ten, and 30% – even older. Only 19% of Russians use cars under three years old. And how many “wheels” does the average Russian family have?

That our compatriots, as expected, buy used cars is nothing new. According to a survey conducted by analysts from SberStrakhovanie, 68% of Russians buy used cars. And what: Prices for anything and everything are only growing, but wages – alas. It’s good if they don’t get smaller.

Speaking of new cars, they are mainly bought not even in the capital, but in Kazan (57%), Naberezhnye Chelny (54%) and Tyumen – 47%. In addition, four in five respondents bought their car in cash. More often than others, cars are bought for “cash” in Makhachkala (93%). But credit is mainly used in Kazan (28%), Tolyatti (26%) and Ufa (25%).

Of course, LADA models are most popular with our brother, while Toyota, Kia, Ford and Nissan dominate among foreign cars. At the same time, 79% of Russian families own only one car, 15% have two and 6% have three or more.
