The premiere of a special UAZ-469 series dedicated to the half-century anniversary of the legendary model took place at the Arskoe race track in Ulyanovsk. The first ten cars immediately found their new owners.
The first UAZ-469 all-terrain vehicles left the assembly line of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant on December 15, 1972. And in honor of the anniversary, the model received a tailgate, additional folding seats in the luggage compartment and a folding soft canopy with arches that can be installed instead of a removable metal roof. Belonging to an exclusive edition is indicated by brand nameplates and an individual serial number.
Among other things, the body and dashboard of the anniversary UAZ-469 received the Raptor color. The heated seats are made of eco-leather with fashionable double red stitching and the ceiling is decorated with stylish black upholstery.
And you can also equip the car with a power body kit, an electric winch, a snorkel and other attributes of “off-road” life.
The car’s wheels are shod with BF-Goodrich AT mud tires and it is powered by a 112 hp petrol engine mated to a five-speed “mechanics”. Bridges – “Spicer”, drive – plug-in full with limited slip differential.
It is noteworthy that future owners can order a novelty directly from the factory, avoiding all kinds of dealer margins, as well as choose the serial number of the special series. The corresponding label becomes visible on the bodywork and is displayed in the VIN code.
