The project aims to solve the problem of competitive import substitution. A unified electric car can be used in different sectors of the national economy. Based on this, you can place various attachments. For example, for cleaning territories, transporting goods, using it as a tractor, and so on.
In addition, the car became the first Russian electric vehicle for housing and municipal services. The undercarriage allows you to lift a snow plow, sweeping brush, watering system and other units.
– Energy consumption in a standard driving cycle – 8 kWh. That’s almost three times less than the Nissan Leaf. The machine has a simple construction and an easy-to-use design, allowing most parts to be made from recycled materials. Due to the flexibility and simplicity of the design of the power plant, it does not have much electronics compared to analogues from other countries. The team has received eight invention patents. Previously, such vehicles were purchased exclusively abroad. Funds were allocated for the implementation of the project from a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science (92 million rubles) and the Sarapul Power Generation Plant – 90 million rubles.
More than 1,000 such electric cars are expected to be sold in the near future at a cost of more than 700 million rubles.
