In the context of a shortage of components and an artificially created hype in the segment of the sale of spare parts and car maintenance, the prices of spare parts and consumables continue to grow relentlessly. The AvtoVzglyad portal found out for which models and how much the parts have increased in price.

Of course, the increase in the cost of spare parts to a greater extent affected the models of car manufacturers that left the Russian market or announced their readiness to leave it. For example, according to the Russian Union of Auto Insurers, average prices have increased significantly for parts for Japanese Honda cars (by almost 60%), Swedish Volvo (by 51%), Japanese Mazda (by 49%) and British Land Rover – by 46% .%.

Meanwhile, spare parts for Japanese Infiniti’s premium crafts rose in price by 42%, German Mercedes-Benz and BMW by 41%, and for Audi by 38%. Incidentally, the average price tags for the Japanese Suzuki have increased by the same amount.

As for more popular cars, the average cost of auto parts increased by 30%. In particular, we are talking about the products of Nissan, Mitsubishi and Lexus, whose components are “heavier” by 33%, Skoda – 30%, Hyundai and Kia – 29%, and Volkswagen – 28%.

Spare parts for American Chevrolet added less in price – by 27%. But parts for “our brands” have only increased in price by 12%.

In the meantime, prices for consumables have fallen for a number of foreign cars. And we’re not just talking about the so-called illiquid assets, such as British Jaguars and American Cadillacs. Details can be found here.
