Scammers have mastered a new plan of “divorce” for money. For example, scammers send emails on behalf of the Volga Automobile Plant offering to participate in tenders supposedly initiated by AVTOVAZ. What is behind such messages, the AvtoVzglyad portal found out.
Entrepreneurs involved in business and government contracts fall victim to scammers. Attackers who send letters from fake domain names offer to confirm the trustworthiness status of the counterparty with an STO FSS certificate, for which you have to pay from 40,000 rubles.
Probably, there are already quite a few such “divorces”, because AvtoVAZ itself officially announced that no payment is required to confirm participation in the tenders. Moreover: the only correct domain address of the company is @VAZ.ru, the rest are “fake”.
It’s worth adding that this isn’t the first time criminals have been operating under a personal LADA. So, a few years ago, users of social networks and mobile communications received messages about a Vesta allegedly won in the lottery, which they could pick up if they deposited 0.5-1% of the cost of the car. It’s good that AvtoVAZ quickly responded to the “scam” and informed consumers about it.
