China’s Geely has signed an agreement with Poland’s ElectroMobility Poland to transfer a license to use the SEA electric platform for the European brand Izera. You know one, don’t you? And he is! And will soon introduce its first electric car.

ElectroMobility Poland will, not without the support of the Polish government, master the proven SEA architecture of the Chinese Geely. New electric vehicles will enter the European market under the Izera brand. The compact crossover EMP will be the first sign, later the hatchback and the C-class station wagon will complement the product line.

By the way, models of the “heavenly” premium brand Zeekr, owned by Geely, and the German Smart, which has a joint venture with the Chinese, are already being produced on the same “wagon”.

Recall that the SEA architecture was developed by Geely in Europe and China. Purpose-built for electric vehicles, the platform scales from small A-segment vehicles to E-class vehicles, as well as larger commercial vehicles. For example, the wheelbase can be “stretched” from 1800 mm to 3300 mm – depending on production requirements.

ElectroMobility Poland’s electric vehicles will be the first mass-produced electric vehicles in Poland and will become the starting point for the country’s full transition to an environmentally friendly mode of transport. At least that’s what the local authorities said. Well, let them try, and the Chinese are happy to help them with this.
