5 Chinese crossovers in Russia with the lowest fuel consumption

0
The Russian market literally died down and surrendered to car manufacturers from China, who bring their new products to us almost every month. The AvtoVzglyad portal decided to select the most economical models from the popular “heavenly” models.

We could, of course, talk about electric cars going to Russia in tons and one after the other, but why waste our letters and your time discussing admittedly uncompromisingly economical, but utterly utopian vehicles. Let’s talk about models with traditional internal combustion engines. And even better – about the most non-gluttonous of them.

Coincidentally, crossovers were among the most popular cars of our brother from China. In fact, they will be discussed below. Let’s see which SUVs consume less fuel than others. However, here it is worth noting that when preparing the material, we took the passport data of the models as a basis and considered the consumption of “fuel” only in the combined cycle. Field tests under different operating conditions may show other indicators.

In addition, do not forget that almost all car manufacturers underestimate the actual fuel consumption – for the sake of image and sales promotion. Alas, so it was and so it will be. What figures do the performance characteristics given by the manufacturers show us?

The compact crossover Geely Coolray won the palm, whose 150-horsepower engine “devours” no more than 6.4 liters in the combined cycle. Second place was shared between Changan and Geely. The Changan CS75 crossover with a 150-horsepower engine absorbs 6.8 liters per “hundred”, the Geely Atlas Pro SUV with a 177 horsepower unit spends the same amount. Taking into account the fact that the engine of the latter is more productive, and here even all-wheel drive, it is still fairer to give this car the second place of honor.

Next comes Chery Tiggo 8 Pro with a 1.6-liter engine, demonstrating a consumption of 7 liters per 100 kilometers. And the hit parade is completed by the miniature Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, equipped with a 1.5-liter engine, with an indicator of 7.1 liters per hundred square meters.
