Therefore, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation expanded the base rate corridor in both directions by 26%, which affected the OSAGO premium increase by about 10%. The policies themselves have increased in price by 15%. It’s just the beginning!

As Evgeny Ufimtsev, executive director of the Russian Union of Motorcycle Insurers, told the AvtoVzglyad portal: “The cost of repairs is now calculated only taking into account the prices of analogues of original parts, if the manufacturers of these originals have left Russia.” Non-original spare parts include not only spare parts manufactured in other countries, but also those produced by Russian enterprises. It is clear that their quality does not always correspond to the declared, and even more so – brand.

Admittedly, as an “anti-crisis” measure, as the insurers call it, there is talk of using “used” parts. If it is in a simple way, the cars are repaired with old spare parts. Of course, this is better than nothing, but the “bottom” – sorry – even that!

Setting up a parallel import of parts, as we see in the example of cars, is not difficult. However, it is easier for pragmatic (read – cunning) supporters of the anti-crisis program to impose on car owners the installation of used components. And then, as they say, your troubles.

Even worse, it will take much longer to wait for the needed spare part than before. Today we recall that the established repair period is 30 calendar days. Now they want to increase the maximum time window for restoring a car under OSAGO even more. In other words, you will get a car back after an accident within a few months, and even with old parts that have become new!

Already, according to a number of insurance companies, 25-50% of car owners in different regions of the country refuse to take out OSAGO policies.

The main thing – do not forget to pay for insurance regularly, support the “anti-crisis” idea of ​​​​insurers in a crisis, who previously hesitated to meet their obligations, underestimated payments or even completely deprived them of motorists . Further, it will not even be as always, but much worse. But we are used…
