The Ministry of Transport of the Moscow Region reported that the territory of residential complexes in 13 city districts of the region began to be patrolled by cars equipped with parking cameras. They are aimed at resolving parking violations by local car owners.
“To ensure unimpeded passage of emergency services in the courtyards of 42 residential complexes in the Moscow region, 17 parkons are now on duty daily,” the ministry said in a statement.
Parkons are active daily in the residential complexes of Voskresensk, Dmitrov, Domodedovo, Zhukovsky, Klin, Kolomna, Leninsky, Lytkarino, Lyubertsy, Mytishchi, Solnechnogorsk, Odintsovo, Schelkovo, as well as in the Belaya Dacha Park residential complex in Kotelniki.
We will not be surprised if this “bold experiment” near Moscow with fines for parking in courtyards is enthusiastically received by officials in other regions of the country. Also in the Moscow Deptrans, whose officials traditionally sleep and see: how else to “clamp” with bans, and then certainly fine the capital’s car owner!
