The Moscow Automobile Plant Moskvich announced the cost of its Moskvich 3 model, a JAC JS4 crossover assembled in Moscow with the Moskvich nameplate. It practically coincides with the selling price of the “source” model in the showrooms of Russian dealers of the Chinese brand, the AvtoVzglyad portal found out.

Crossover “Moskvich 3” will go on sale at a price of 1.97 million rubles. The model is offered to consumers in five colors: white, black, red, gray and blue. Moskvich 3 is the first and only (for now at least) model that came off the assembly line of the Moskvich factory in Moscow (formerly Avtoframos).

Shipments of cars are reportedly set to begin in 11 dealerships before the end of this year. Muscovites will be sold by ROLF Khimki, Avtomir Ozernaya, Avilon Volgogradsky Prospekt, Major Novorizhskoye Highway, ROLF Center, Avtomir Yaroslavskoye Highway, Avilon Legend TTK, Kuntsevo Shopping Center, Petrovsky Belaya Dacha”, “Avtorus Izmailovo” and “Autopassage”. As you know, at Moskvich they create Moskvich 3 by screwing the wheels onto the vehicle kits of the front-wheel drive JAC JS4 from China.

Recall that a few months ago a number of Russian car dealerships began selling native JAC JS4 crossovers with a starting price of 1.99 million rubles for a car with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 118 horsepower. of. and six-speed “mechanics”. In the top configuration, the JAC JS4 already has a 1.5-liter turbo engine with an output of 147 hp. with., a variator in the transmission and many comfortable options. In this case, they ask for it about 2.4 million rubles.

“Moskvich 3” is equipped with a 1.6-liter atmospheric engine with a capacity of 109 liters. of. and a 150 hp turbocharged engine with a displacement of 1.5 liters. Transmissions are the same as the JAC JS4 – a 6-speed manual and a CVT. Oddly enough, JAC’s official Russian website does not include JS4 in the list of models. Apparently, it was decided not to officially deliver this front-wheel drive crossover to Russia, so as not to spoil sales of Moskvich 3.
