The AvtoVzglyad portal found out if the department had finally developed miraculous recipes for the car market.

And the only thing you can complain about is why all those foreign manufacturers didn’t go home sooner, because it’s so good without them. For 11 months of 2022, sales of new passenger cars in Russia exceeded 585,000 units!
Admittedly, the Association of European Businesses cites the number of 548,877 cars produced and imported, with a drop of 60.9% compared to the previous very unsuccessful year. And “AUTOSTAT” says about 569,536 registered new cars and about -58.8% of the dynamics. No one denies that the Ministry of Industry and Trade has its own sources of information, and even more accurate ones, but they differ little from the above, even if we add another 120,000 imported cars, but not yet registered with the traffic police. By the way, however, these cars floating between heaven and earth received an electronic passport and should have been included in Avtostat’s statistics. Well, okay, let’s not catch fleas.
To exude optimism about a 60% market drop is rather strange for any organization, and especially for a state organization. But the fact is that the reserves of this feeling in Denis Manturov’s department are truly inexhaustible. You will think a hundred years, but you will never guess who, in his opinion, will save the domestic auto industry. As it turns out, two epic heroes, AVTOVAZ and Haval, will take the industry by storm. Russian and Chinese are forever brothers. The first will produce 400,000 cars next year, the second will produce 140 cars a day, which is just over 51,000 a year. Actually, there are no more serious manufacturers, except for these, which are cited as an example by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in domestic open spaces no more.
Do serious uncles in high posts in the department seriously believe that these two, with a total annual production of 450,000 cars, are capable of replacing 50 brands that put 1,600,000 cars for sale in bad times?
Further. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce made a very strange statement, which is worthy of being quoted in full: “It is equally important to suppress attempts at unreasonable price increases, which arise, among other things, from artificial hype around the alleged shortage of cars . The industry is constantly working to meet the demand for passenger cars, both through imports and an increase in domestic production.”
That is, “supposedly” a deficit is not so much good as great. Open your eyes wider, dear fellow citizens, and run to car dealers. There you will see for yourself that new cars in our country are just a blockade – for every taste, color and size. So there is no reason to raise prices. You can sleep peacefully.
Actually, the above passage is the only way in this opus that the Ministry of Industry and Trade “answered” Vladimir Putin’s order. The president said the Ministry of Industry and Commerce did it. Or rather, he pretended to.
