In today’s video, I’ll show you one of Samsung’s biggest releases at CES 2023! I’m talking about gaming monitors Odyssey G9 OLED (for those who want a much wider range of colors) and Odysseus Neo G9 (which provides much higher brightness peaks)!

The Odyssey G9 OLED, as the name suggests, has a 4K Quantum Dot OLED screen, a technology found in TVs and now available for monitors. Its size is 49 inches, which is equivalent to two 27-inch monitors side by side. The 32:9 aspect ratio makes content very immersive for work and play, in addition to being able to split the monitor into multiple screens.

The G9 OLED offers several built-in technologies common to the Odyssey range, such as backlighting, multiple height and angle adjustments, and ultra-thin 1000R curvature thickness. The refresh rate is 240 Hz, the response time is 0.1 ms. It also reaches a brightness of 250 nits and delivers very vibrant colors, which is its hallmark.

The 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 features a Neo QLED screen with miniLED and is the first to feature two UHD screens side by side. That is, this monitor is equivalent to two 32-inch 4K screens as its resolution is 7680 x 2160 pixels.

It provides a 240Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time. This model is also the first on the market with a Display Port 2.1 port. As for brightness, VESA HDR 1000 technology is used here, which allows peak values ​​​​to reach a thousand nits.
