Looks like there’s no stopping the guys from the Middle Kingdom. Almost every month the Chinese bombard us with their new products. Further! The AvtoVzglyad portal is ready to introduce you to the five upcoming premieres from China for the Russian market.

In fairness, it should be noted that we won’t be talking about updated versions a la premium Exeed crossovers, Great Wall’s off-road tank line, and other previously announced models.

But we will talk about the “fresh” that the Chinese will show us in the near future, not without pleasure.

CHERY

Chery decided to dilute the crossover product line with a real SUV. The novelty received the factory index TJ-1, the premiere is scheduled for the spring of 2023. However, some details about the brutal “villain” are already known.

So in addition to looking in the spirit of the uncompromising Jeep Wrangler, the car gets fashionable retractable door handles, like the British Range Rover Velar, wheel arch extensions, mud tires and a bunch of useful and advanced options. The ride is nowhere fuller. As for the powertrain, a hybrid setup is expected under the hood, built around a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine. Transmission – eight-speed hydromechanical “automatic”.

HAVAL

The premiere of the “big man” named H-Dog has already taken place, which means that the hour is not even yet and the car will come to us. The model is based on the modular LEMON platform with a transversely mounted engine and a ground clearance of 200 mm, a forced-locking differential and no fewer than nine driving modes adapted to different operating conditions.

The five-meter “doggy” received a 2-liter engine that produces 238 “dope” forces, and for Greenpeace fans there are a pair of electric motors in a hybrid with a 1.5-liter supercharged gasoline engine. The parlor boasts a huge touchpad and its functionality is a funky cocktail of built-in options.

EXEED

The AtlantiX luxury coupe crossover has become a series that is preparing to conquer the market. The car turned out not only beautiful, but also obscenely stuffed. Here you have adaptive shock absorbers, a paddle shifter and two huge displays of a multimedia entertainment complex that can understand voice commands and “distribute” the Internet.

Other “chips” include hidden door handles in the panel and, of course, the most fashionable fiery red Chinese-style wheel brake calipers. The movement of the cross coupe, made on the “cart” of the well-known Exeed TXL and VX, is powered by a turbocharged engine that “blows out” more than 260 forces from a few liters of volume. The gearbox is a seven-speed “robot” that distributes power to both axles.

YELLOW

And this is a seven-seat crossover called Okavango, which boasts not only a spacious interior and a plethora of security systems, but also a wide range of comfort options that has surpassed even Geely Tugella, which claims to be premium. The expectation is that the car can be controlled from a smartphone, and the smartphone from the car.

As for the technical filling, a 2-liter engine from Volvo was registered in the engine compartment, combined with a robot gearbox with two “wet” clutches. Incidentally, it is possible that the front-wheel drive SUV will also get a 4×4 version in the foreseeable future.

JETOUR

You’ve probably never heard of this brand. Meanwhile, this is a sub-brand of the well-known Russian company Chery, which, in collaboration with the Chinese mobile electronics manufacturer Huawei, launched a line of SUVs, the equipment of which will be integrated into cars.

So: the Chinese decided to roll out a city SUV with the letter X70, which can be in both five- and seven-seater versions. The front-wheel drive SUV boasts a 157-horsepower “turbo” with 210 Nm of torque, and a six-speed “mechanics” or a six-speed “robot” is offered as a gearbox. The car is more aimed at a young audience, which in theory should not deter customers from the products of the top brand Chery.
