Initially, the Chinese promised to show the novelty to the Russians in 2022, but known events in the country and the world forced the debut to be postponed.
As Gennady Svidersky, general manager of the BelGee plant, once said, the Geely Monjaro crossover, which will be registered at the facilities of the Belarusian company, will go on sale in 2023. Now dealers have announced more detailed dates for the start of sales: according to our colleagues from the Chinese Automobiles publication, the car ordering counter will open in March-April. It is noteworthy that on the date of the model’s launch on the market, the official representation of the brand is completely silent.
It is worth recalling that the Monjaro showrooms will come with a non-alternative turbocharged engine about 238 “stallions”, known to us from the Geely Tugella cross coupe. And the engine will be accompanied by an eight-speed hydromechanical “automatic”, which distributes power between both axles.
As standard, the crossover is equipped with full-power accessories, diode optics, an interactive instrument panel and a 12.3-inch multimedia entertainment complex touchpad, as well as a wide range of advanced assistance assistants.
