Representatives of the press and the blogosphere waged a fierce battle for leadership on the track, where a few weeks ago the famous Christmas “Race of Champions” took place. Actually on the same machines, of which the specialists of the LADA Sport division built only six copies.

In the meantime, it is worth adding that the cars are regularly “rebuilt” and finalized, and for the new season it was decided to “shoe” them with Italian Pirelli tires with a 4.5 cm stud! By comparison, riders used to ride on 1.5 cm studs. In other words, the speed on the ice has become higher, the grip is more effective and the emotions are cooler!
Two cars take part in the races at the same time, each starting from its own track, separating after the first corner and then reuniting. The total length of the course with closed climbs, sharp turns and treacherous descents is 2.5 kilometers.
This distance is enough to get a crazy adrenaline injection in the first round and to wash your face with your own sweat in the second round. This is exactly the case when it is cold outside and the pilots are hotter than in the summer in Tashkent.
According to the results of the competition, our friend and colleague Vadim Gagarin from Auto Mail won the palm. He confidently overtook Mikhail Kuldyaev, who took an honorable second place, as well as Yuri Uryukov, who received bronze. In the women’s standings, Tatyana Eliseeva, as expected, became the undisputed leader. Congratulations!
