The total number of vacancies in the automotive sector exceeded 300,000 in 2022, which is 15% more than a year earlier.
No less in demand are car inspectors in technical centers, telecom operators for employment on the “hotline”, as well as sales managers for vehicles and related services.
Employers are very active and expectantly looking for drivers. Especially truck drivers and taxi drivers. By the way, the demand for drivers in the passenger transport sector has grown by 42%, and the average salary in the segment is 100,000 rubles. As for the “long-distance fighters”, the profession has become more relevant by as much as 77% with a salary of 110,000 rubles. By the way, the wages for them, compared to the indicators of 2021, “heavier” by 30%. And the demand for drivers with a salary of 60,000 rubles increased by 12%.
In addition, popular vacancies are car washing machines with a monthly payment of just under 40,000 rubles. But car maintenance specialists, including locksmiths, earn at least 60,000 “wooden”. Moreover, they account for 10% of the total vacancies in the automotive segment.

In terms of monthly wages, Moscow is expected to lead – 90,000 rubles. Slightly less – 82,000 domestic banknotes – are paid to workers in St. Petersburg, 75,000 rubles – in Sochi.
However, there are exceptions. For example, the highest salary in the automotive industry today is set at the level of 250,000 rubles. Such money is offered to a truck driver in Tyumen, a heavy truck driver in the Moscow region and a specialist in buying vehicles in Moscow.
