Good news for those considering buying a used car: some models have dropped in price this year. Let prices have fallen and something, but, as you know, from a black sheep, at least a tuft of wool. Especially now that the price of everything and everyone is skyrocketing.

Our colleagues from Rossiyskaya Gazeta got to know the results of a study on the dynamics of average prices for second-hand goods, conducted by the National Agency for Industrial Information (NAPI). For example, it turned out that the one-year-old LADA Granta became 1.9% cheaper. And the same-aged Korean couple Kia Rio and Hyundai Solaris – for those who prefer foreign cars – up 0.7% and 0.1% respectively.

Prices for ongoing crossovers have also fallen slightly. In particular, the two-year Kia Sportage fell in price by 0.5%, the three-year – by 0.1%. The cost price of Volkswagen Tiguan, which celebrated its third birthday, fell by 1.8%. Fresh Hyundai Tucson, which left the gates of the official dealer in 2021 – by 0.3%. Renault Duster has also become slightly cheaper: you can take out a two-year subscription by paying 0.3% less than in December 2022.

We add that used cars have increased in price in Russia over the past year, according to various estimates, by 35-40%. The most active rewrite of price tags was in the spring. And if you look at the segments, then – on new cars under three years old.
