To begin with, it may be worth recalling that the Volga residents decided to transfer the production of the updated LADA Vesta NG from Izhevsk to Togliatti, leaving only LADA Largus there, which is preparing for a restart, too with a power plant. As Dmitry Kostromin, vice president of sales and marketing of JSC AVTOVAZ, told the AvtoVzglyad portal, the production of auto parts is being prepared for launch at the Izhevsk site.
“We are in favor of the localization and development of our own, and above all, independent automotive industry in the country. To make it a quality product that will be relevant not only in our market, but also in export markets. We have a whole development plan for Izhevsk for the next 1.5 years.
