But what surprises the interior is preparing is still unclear. Representatives of the brand limited themselves to only teasers of the exterior.

As for the “technology”, the engine range of the new Verna will include two 1.5-liter engines – naturally aspirated and turbocharged. The first cooperates with a six-speed “mechanics” or a variator, and the second – with the same seven-speed manual gearbox or “robot”. There are no other details yet – they probably won’t be revealed until the premiere.

And by the way, it will happen very soon. According to our colleagues from Autocar India, the sedan that has replaced the generation will be presented to the general public in the coming days and sales will begin in May.

And although Hyundai Verna is intended for the Indian market, there is a chance that we will also see this car in Russia – thanks to parallel imports. Solaris has always been in high demand with us and so it won’t be surprising if other dealers try their luck by offering an Asian sedan.
