Auto Express has published an image of the alleged appearance of the third-generation Audi Q5, which is scheduled to debut next year.

Journalists suggest that the exterior of the crossover is undergoing evolutionary changes, while the interior will become stronger due to the new multimedia system. The range of engines will include petrol and diesel units, as well as plug-in hybrid units. There will be no fully electric version of the new SUV.

The future Q5 will retain the main attributes of today’s model. The Singleframe grille will increase in size, the headlights will become narrower, the lanterns will be connected by a luminous jumper.

The size of the new “ku-fifth” is not far from its predecessor and, of course, will receive a coupe-like version of the Sportback. Inside, more revolutionary changes are expected, including a new architecture of the front panel and a multimedia system.

Meanwhile, the range of engines will remain unchanged: 2.0 and 3.0 liter diesel engines, which now develop 163-286 horsepower, a 2.0 petrol turbo four with 265 horsepower output, and improved versions of hybrid installations with mains charging, like the Q5 5e and Q5 55 TFSI e. The appearance of a charged SQ5 with a V6 3.0 diesel engine with a power of 341 horsepower is not ruled out, but there will be no electric Q5 e-tron in Europe.

The Q5 crossover is one of Audi’s most popular models. Last year, the company sold about 300,000 cars. Of these, 61,000 were in Europe, and 60,000 in the United States.
