The Sollers holding company has decided to leave the conveyor belts of the factories of UAZ and Mazda-Sollers, because they have issued company holidays for their employees. Both
UAZ and Mazda-Sollers will stop after their shift on April 29 and will start in two weeks: the Ulyanovsk conveyor belt will start on May 16, and the Vladivostok conveyor belt on May 19. Nothing is reported on the true reasons for the production hiatus, but it’s easy to guess that both plants are simply missing components.
Incidentally, AvtoVAZ resumed work this week after a three-week company vacation, which was postponed from summer to spring by the management of the car giant due to an acute shortage of parts. The AvtoVzglyad portal found out whether the purchasing department managed to attract enough components to start production.
