How KTM helps Russian motorcyclists on the road

Since April 2022, KTM has been launching the Roadside Assistance program for motorcycle owners. As the AvtoVzglyad portal found out, the participants will receive support from service departments on the roads of Russia and Belarus.

The Roadside Assistance program is available to KTM customers for two years after purchasing a new road bike. In addition, the support applies to motorcycles under 7 years old purchased from authorized KTM dealers and scheduled to be serviced with original parts. Owners of such bicycles will be assisted by service departments within 12 months from the MOT date.

In the event of a motorcycle breakdown or accident, a motorcyclist can seek advice from KTM’s 24-hour unified hotline. The coordinator determines the nearest service center and calls the emergency services on site.

Specialists provide fuel and also help to start the motorcycle engine from an external power source. If necessary, they will evacuate the motorcycle to the official KTM dealer and the owner will be delivered free of charge in the city to the residence or service center.
