The May holiday is approaching. And if earlier our compatriots flew en masse to the “foreign” to the seas, then in today’s reality people decided to forego even road trips through their native land. Where do Russian car owners spend their free time?
Our colleagues from Auto Mail conducted a survey and found that most Russians will spend the long spring weekend in their country house. This was the answer of 44% of the respondents.
Meanwhile, 31% of survey participants even plan to stay at home. And only 8% of respondents will travel to the country’s tourist cities by car, while only 3% will go to the Black Sea resorts.
A trip by car to the forest or to the river was planned by 2% of those who participated in the survey, the same number are planning to spend the weekend in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
The most popular means of transport – 69% – own car. The plane is chosen by 7% of respondents, the train and bus – only 2%, car sharing – a miserable 1%.
