In recent months Instagram brought several new features to its platform. Continuing its research and updates, Meta confirmed to TechCrunch that it is testing a new tool that will allow users to pin your posts feed favorites in their profiles.

The new update also allows everyone to tag products in photos.
According to the information, by clicking on the three-dot menu in the messages, platform members will be able to find the new option “Attach to your profile”.
This feature can be very useful for personal and business accounts who want to highlight some information in front of their profile post grid. This way, for example, artists who post a lot of photos and videos will be able to highlight their best work.
A spokesperson for Meta said: “We’re testing a new feature that allows people to post to their profiles.”
The tool, which is currently in its testing phase, was first spotted in January of this year when insider Alessandro Paluzzi posted several images showing how it works.
In February, Paluzzi updated his followers, saying that the social network is still working on the tool. This time, the leader showed that up to three posts can be pinned to each profile.

The new function will work similarly with “Basic moments” which are designed for already published stories and allow users to save 24-hour publications in the profile. While it is possible to repost content from the feed to Stories and then put it in the Highlights tab, the new tool gives social network members access to a new way to customize their feed.

The platform aims to suppress re-published videos and value news
