There is still a shortage of car parts in Russia: even parallel imports cannot supply some items – there are no parts in European or Arab warehouses. And no one has canceled the crisis in the microchip market – they are also scarce. However, there is a fully relevant and proven method of solving the problem, which was proposed at the state level. And in more detail – in the material of the portal “AvtoVzglyad”.
Owners of premium and downright expensive European cars are faced with an unprecedented problem: a total shortage of new parts. Asian – Korean and Japanese – cars are already being maintained and repaired in a calm mode and with sufficient deadlines, but with “Europe” – problems.
Pads and filters – in a word, consumables – have already been delivered in the right quantity and assortment, but when it comes to repair – writing waste. “Safety”, complex components and assemblies (such as wheelhouses and various blocks) are simply not to be found. They are not in the warehouses of the Old and New World, the Middle East and Asia. Just no – not for money and connections.
In addition, after a wave of sanctions and artillery shelling, the most pressing problem of the auto industry in recent years, the shortage of chips eased, but was not definitively solved. Manufacturers have ready-made components on which you only need to place pre-printed signs. But the key element – the chip – did not exist and still does not exist. And the repair time is extended indefinitely.
The experts from the bench will say loudly and intrusively, grinning sarcastically, “Well, buy a second-hand, what’s the problem? We’ve found something to breed demagoguery out of! Yes, but insurance companies – and most fresh cars today are insured and repaired under the CASCO policy – can’t go this way.
If the policy says “official dealer”, then the car must be repaired at the address and only with new parts. Want to speed up the process by buying a used piece of hardware? No problem – only the insurance company does not pay for such an acquisition. At your own expense, please, or wait.
For example, the wheelhouse – restored, fully functional – for some Mercedes-Benz models costs about 250,000 rubles. Without grimacing, we take it out of the wallet? So why take out insurance? The problem has reached too impressive proportions to dismiss or leave at the mercy of a private trader, so officials got to work. That also applies to them: it is not customary in this social circle to move around in Ladakh and Moskvich. Not accepted yet.
In fact, the solution is quite simple and widespread in the world: to create a regulated industry for the restoration of used parts. Not in the garage of “Uncle Vanya”, but in the factory. The deputies of the State Duma turned to the government with such a proposal. On the one hand, this service will significantly reduce dependence on imports, and on the other hand, it will become possible to calculate prices for car parts.
It’s no secret to anyone that, for example, turbines and generators, starters and motors move completely painlessly? They have a service life and resources commensurate with the new ones, and questions arise solely because of a poor quality process. If the state takes care of it, the parts and assemblies are guaranteed and the restoration is carried out in accordance with regulations.
After the rebuild, the part is given a new part number and sold as refurbished through a network of official distributors. This means that it can also be used for repairs under CASCO. Only one question remains: Why didn’t they offer it sooner?
