It is certainly possible to think of a utilitarian application in the country for this Chinese buggy, but it would be far-fetched, as the ZFORCE 1000 Sport EPS with a liter engine is made solely for the pleasure of driving on rough terrain. In addition, this toy is able to give such an amount and quality of emotions that it is hardly comparable in terms of intensity of passions.
The design of the car is very, very unusual: it resembles some kind of alien terrain vehicle from movies about the distant future. In addition, the appearance of CFMOTO’s “litrushka” is so original that it has no common features with any of its direct competitors.
The design of the buggy is not only beautiful, but also functional: in particular, ZFORCE has practically no overhangs at the front or rear, and the wheels are in fact the extreme points of the dimensions of the all-terrain vehicle. Such a design guarantees phenomenal cross-country ability, as we have personally seen when storming forest canyons on the “baggushka”.
At the same time, despite the lack of a front overhang, the designers have found a place where you can install a powerful electric winch with a pulling force of more than 1.5 tons. It is also included in the basic package of the all-terrain vehicle. However, you don’t need to use it often – at least we didn’t manage to plant ZFORCE in such a way that it takes a “swan”.
Explosive nature
Liter engine installed on the ZFORCE 1000 Sport EPS, gasoline two-cylinder with a V-shaped arrangement of “pots”. The power of 80 “horses” produces at 7500 rpm and the maximum torque of 78 Nm drops at 7000 rpm. However, thanks to the Canadian variator from world-renowned manufacturer CVTech, power and torque are a bit “spread out” across the engine’s operating range, and there’s no shortage of agility or traction, even when picking in the mud at low speeds.
Despite the engine not being turbocharged, it responds extremely cheerfully to the accelerator and really provokes to “drown” over rough terrain. We didn’t do any measurements, as they say, with instruments, but the buggy’s acceleration dynamics are fantastic – literally a few seconds, and rare trees seem to turn into a solid stockade, and on the speedometer it’s already less than a hundred kilometers a hour hour! The maximum speed of the hero of our story is 120 km/h.
To tell the truth, it is simply not possible to drive calmly on such a “lighter”. This machine is designed to get you high from the adrenaline rush. Feel the fullness of emotions and allow not only a powerful power plant, but also a completely independent suspension with crazy movements, which gives a feeling of comfort and security even at very decent speeds. The ZFORCE 1000 Sport EPS is equipped with gas oil shock absorbers with progressive spring rates and adjustable compression and rebound damping.
In other words, when you run at full speed through a plowed frozen field, you have absolutely no feeling that all the entrails are being shaken out of you and there is absolutely no soul. At the same time, the “thousander” maintains excellent handling and directional stability.
The electric power steering, which ZFORCE is equipped with in the standard configuration, allows you to tirelessly turn the “steering wheel” of a 650 kilogram buggy even all day long. But in addition to actively assisting when turning the steering wheel, EPS also dampens shocks from the wheels. As bumpy as the clearing was, on which we tested the ZFORCE 1000 Sport EPS, not a single bump, not a single hole was passed in the hands.
Surely there will be people who say, they say, why spend money on incomprehensible toys when you can do the same on an all-terrain vehicle, in which, moreover, unlike a buggy, it is warm, clean and dry?! Well, don’t tell me: not every prepared jeep will pass where the off-road CFMOTO ZFORCE flew effortlessly. After all, it is much lighter than any car, the suspension movements are such that cars have never dreamed, and the engine allows you to literally “shoot” from one place.
The only advantage of the car in this context, only one – cleanliness and dryness in the cabin, because in the ZFORCE 1000 Sport EPS, despite being equipped with a plastic roof and half a windshield, you fade to the state of a village pig. But does it also have its charm?
