Previously, such a large manufacturer of auto parts as Bosch supplied ABS kits to the conveyor, but the Germans stopped doing this, as the EU introduced restrictions against Russia. Now, according to information from the Quto.ru portal, the Chinese APG, with which the residents of Ulyanovsk agreed, is shipping electronic components.
It is noteworthy that surcharges for ABS are not required. In the only configuration “Base Icarus”, for which they ask 1,530,000 rubles, it is listed as standard equipment. Such copies already appear in car dealerships, but the “prices” differ from the recommended prices. To become the owner of a brand new Patriot, you need to pay at least 1,800,000 rubles.
Meanwhile, the company’s management is full of optimism. In late 2023 – early 2024, the stability control system and airbags should be in cars again.
