“We have agreed to sell the Russian company to local management, which will continue to be led by the current executive and financial directors,” Inchcape’s official statement said.

The deal is reportedly set to close in May this year. The prize will be €76 million. New entrepreneurs will pay off the headquarters in annual installments over five years. Inchcape specifically noted that the company will not return to Russia in the future.

The company’s Russian branch currently owns more than 20 car dealerships in Moscow and St. Petersburg. It is a distributor of brands such as Rolls-Royce, BMW, Chery, EXEED, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, MINI, Mitsubishi, Toyota and Volvo.
