The demand for used motorcycles is showing unprecedented growth. In the first month of spring, the popularity of used bicycles grew by 24.4% and that of mopeds and scooters by as much as 43.7%. The average cost of a “used” motorcycle was 170,000 rubles, while a scooter costs an average of 46,000 “wooden”.
Compared to mopeds, motorcycles are bought much more actively. Thus, according to analysts of the Avito Auto platform, the used bicycle segment represents 64.2% of demand, and the share of scooters 35.8%.
In addition, the most popular models were road motorcycles, the average price of which is 250,000 rubles. The second most popular are the cross and enduro classes – the total share of demand is 32.9%, and the average check is set at about 110,000 rubles. TOP-3 sports bikes close with a share of 16.5% and an average cost of 275,000 rubles.
Fourth place was secured by helicopters with an indicator of 7.8% and a price of 420,000 rubles. And the fifth position went to custom models (3.1%) with an average price tag of 73,000 “wooden”.
As for the brands, IZH, including Planet-5 and Jupiter-5, has become the absolute leader in the used motorcycle segment. Slightly less popular was the legendary “Ural”.
