Just a year and a half ago, everyone around suddenly became “competent” military experts and strategists, and virologists at the same time. And ‘seriously’ discussed vaccinations, the consequences of the contamination and the strategic stocks of toilet paper. Well covid hasn’t gone away. In addition, new studies recently arrived on the Avtovzglyad portal explaining the causes of mass neurosis and post-pandemic madness on the roads.

So British scientists – they have not yet been able to overcome the pandemic in the Russian case – found out that many recovered drivers have lost some important skills, sometimes completely losing the ability to navigate in space. Convention aside, we can call a spade a spade: Covid-19 contributes to topographical cretinism.

An example is the clinical case of a 28-year-old young lady working in the relief service for the poor. The young lady suffered from “covid” twice, after which there were significant problems with facial recognition and attention, navigation. After falling ill, she not only began to get lost in supermarkets, which prevented her from finding her favorite products on the shelves, but also regularly forgot the place where she left the car. If you search for a car every day with a navigator, that says a lot.

Moreover: the English began to get lost in the streets, having lost the ability to even build a known route in her head. She simply cannot imagine the habitat in which she has lived for many years: she recognizes the place, but does not know how to get out of it. That is, the same topographical cretinism in all its glory, which, it turns out, can be caused not only by addiction to the navigator, but also by diseases. After a thoughtful study of the phenomenon, the doctors concluded that it was covid.

Of course, it is not worth judging strictly and case by case, but the fact remains: a monstrous information avalanche, diseases and just a noticeably worsened standard of living seriously affect driving style. From this follows a simple and understandable conclusion: the more carefully you treat your relatives and colleagues, the more people will not only endure, but also survive the difficult days of the day. Be kinder, because one day you will need that attitude too.
