Japanese Honda has announced a large-scale recall of a number of its models. Among them are Accord sedans that are popular with Russian consumers, as well as CR-V crossovers. The cause was a defect in the braking system.

A car manufacturer has discovered a brake failure in cars that results in an unexpectedly heavy brake pedal that requires extra effort to decelerate effectively.

The recall affected 578,956 vehicles, including Fit, Freed, Vezel, StepWGN, Odyssey, Shuttle, Insight, Jade, Grace and Clarity. There is stable demand for all these models in Japan. In our country, cars of the same name are widely used in the Far East.

It is sad, but true: at the moment, several accidents have been recorded that have arisen from the above-mentioned defect.

The service campaign covers Hondas that rolled off the assembly line between 2018 and 2022. Specialists from the service centers will inspect the cars free of charge and, if necessary, replace the elements of the pedals.
