Their quality and reliability are usually not much different from comparable new units. But due to the “stigma” of a second-rate quality, they cost significantly less than the “new”. Because of this, the cost of replacing the variator with an “automatic” now varies between 110,000 and 150,000 rubles. This is on a turnkey basis. Not the cheapest fun. But it’s worth it – to give that kind of money for a normal tenacious automatic transmission instead of a sissy CVT!
