The Russian owners of Mercedes-Benz were repressed again. So, in Germany, they decided to disable our “mesrovods” from some available functions in the car. Customers have already received relevant letters from dealers.

The Germans are ending the Mercedes me ID electronic service in Russia. We are talking about the ability to remotely control a number of functions in the car. In particular, to start the engine through a mobile application on a smartphone, turn on the air conditioning system, monitor the car’s geolocation, and so on.

Earlier, we recalled that Mercedes-Benz blocked not only the supply of components to the Russian market, but also branded smart keys, which actually deprive car owners of the ability to use the vehicle if the key fob is lost.

But Avtodom, which bought Mercedes’ Russian assets, announced the resumption of the supply of spare parts and accessories. How it will be in practice – we will soon find out.
