The photos, allegedly taken on the territory of AVTOVAZ, are being published by the Avtograd News community on the VKontakte social network. So far, the bodies of two cars are completely covered with camouflage film, so the design can only be guessed at.
However, according to the stamping on the front fender and door, we assume that the factory workers have not given up on the patented X-design proposed by Steve Mattin. And the grille and head optics are very similar to those of the latest Dacia Logan sedan.
It should be noted that, according to rumors, the new “Grant” is based on the CMF-B platform, which AVTOVAZ can use under an agreement with Renault. If so, then there will indeed be a certain resemblance to Logan. Although there is no official confirmation of that.
Recall that in December 2022, the head of the auto giant Maxim Sokolov said that the model would receive modern options, but at the same time remain available. It is planned to produce the LADA Granta 2 in two body styles: sedan and station wagon. The second version will also have an “off-road” version.
