The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine announced the start of the IT Generation training project with Binance Charity. Binance representatives reported this to ForkLog UA.

Program participants will be able to receive free online or offline training in IT specializations under a variety of courses.

Binance Charity will provide $1 million BUSD for scholarships.

IT Generation aims to support Ukrainians, many of whom lost their jobs due to the war.

The project is part of the Binance Scholar program, where students will receive educational and professional support after completing their course.

The training will be conducted by licensed Ukrainian EdTech companies including ITEA and Beetroot.

At least 1,000 students will be trained in the first phase of IT Generation. Citizens of Ukraine between the ages of 21 and 60 can become participants. At the same time, they must not have any work experience or training in the field of informatics.

Fields potential students can choose from include FrontEnd, QA, JavaScript, Python, Java or blockchain development, as well as project/product management, UX/UI design, digital marketing, business analytics or HR.

The course chosen by the participant must meet the following criteria:

• period of not less than two months and not more than six months;
• The cost is no more than $250 and $1000 per month for the entire course;
• load at least four hours per week;
• online or offline format for groups or individual learning.

The project is supported by the Lviv IT cluster.

Recall that since the beginning of the war, Binance has allocated $10 million to resolve the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, and the Binance Charity initiative has launched a fundraiser to help Ukrainian refugees and children.

In April, the company launched a cryptocurrency Binance Refugee Card for Ukrainians who had to relocate to Europe due to the Russian occupation. In addition, the exchange launched a financial support project for IDPs in Ukraine.
