The KuCoin Futures Global Teamfight trading competition was timed to coincide with the registration of more than 20 million users on the platform.
Investors will be able to win up to $20,000, participate in airdrops, receive special bonuses and other rewards. The exchange will publish the list of prizes and detailed contest rules by the end of July.
KuCoin CEO Johnny Liu explained that the user base is growing thanks to the globalization strategy, the introduction of new languages in the platform interface, as well as the launch of trading pairs for fiat euro and Brazilian rial.
In the first half of 2022, KuCoin attracted 9.75 million people, of which 5.6 million were from Asia.
“KuCoin is growing rapidly because the community supports us and trusts the platform regardless of market conditions. As a token of gratitude, we will provide users with more innovative products and services related to NFT, GameFi and Web3,” said Johnny Liu.
KuCoin is a Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange that trades spot, margin and P2P trading for 700 assets.
The platform is developing its own ecosystem: KuCoin Community Chain blockchain with native KCS token, KuCoin Wallet, Windvane NFT marketplace and a number of DeFi applications.
Recall that former KuCoin CEO Johnny Liu denied rumors of employee layoffs.
