The head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Mikhail Fedorov, spoke about a meeting with Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao about possible areas of cooperation between the Ukrainian department and the bitcoin exchange.
“Binance will support our educational projects, especially crypto-literacy, thereby enabling more Ukrainians to acquire digital skills and professions,” Fedorov said.
According to him, the bitcoin exchange has transferred $10 million to support Ukraine and plans to increase the donation to $20 million in the “near future”.
During the month of April, Binance will be issuing a charity cryptocurrency card for all Ukrainians who have left the country and need help.
Fedorov noted the cooperation of the Ministry of Digital Development and the trading platform in the implementation of crypto legislation and the integration of the Ukrainian public services portal “Diya” for user identification.
Recall that Russia’s NFT Museum’s war against Ukraine, launched by the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ukrainian blockchain community, raised more than $500,000.
