Strike CEO Jack Mullers has announced several partnerships with a Lightning Network-based payment application operator that will enable the integration of Bitcoin into US retail chains. Reported by Bitcoin Magazine.

At the Bitcoin 2022 conference, he talked about Strike’s collaboration with online commerce giant Shopify, POS terminal provider NCR, and payments company Blackhawk Network.

According to Mullers, integration will exclude banks from the calculations. This will save on commissions for sellers and privacy for buyers.

He added that he is working with politicians, particularly Senator Cynthia Lummis, to see if a Bitcoin-based payment standard can be promoted.
