According to an analytical report by ForkLog, the total revenue of initial cryptocurrency miners in July was $609.7 million, down 9% compared to June.

While the corresponding figure for Ethereum miners fell 4% to $679.4 billion, the decline has exceeded 50% in the last period.

As a result of the last recalculation, the complexity of bitcoin mining decreased by 5.01% to 27.69 T. This was the maximum drop in the indicator since the beginning of the year.

Bitcoin hashrate increased 4% to 211.93 EH/s. Since the beginning of the year, the indicator has increased by 16.6 percent.

Commissions on the bitcoin network in July remained virtually unchanged, only occasionally exceeding $2. The indicator per Ethereum transaction continued to drop (-47% per month).

Earlier in August, mining company Marathon Digital Holdings agreed to open a $100 million revolving line of credit secured in bitcoin from Silvergate Capital.

Recall that at the end of July, Canaan announced its plans to open a cryptocurrency mining business in the United States.

Earlier, the largest Monero mining pool – MineXMR – announced on August 12 that the business was stopped.
