According to the Coin ATM Radar service, the number of cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide has increased to 39,015. A year ago this figure was 25,154.
693 new devices were installed in July, and 790 and 239 in June and May, respectively.
In terms of countries, the United States is by far the leader – 87.9% of total cryptocurrency ATMs are concentrated here. Canada ranks second with 6.3%.
The dominant producer is Genesis Coin, which holds 40.6% of the market. It is followed by General Bytes (22.8%), BitAccess (15.8%) and Coinsource (5.2%).
The top 10 operators operate more than half of working bitcoin ATMs (69.8%). The leaders – Bitcoin Depot, CoinCloud and CoinFlip – share more than 9% of the total.
Recall that the slowdown in the installation of devices began in January 2022.
In the same month, analysts at Grand View Research predicted that the crypto-ATM market will grow to $1.88 billion by 2028.
