Phantom blockchain-based cryptocurrency wallet operator Solana has announced the launch of a mobile version of the app for devices running Android.
Phantom developers announced that the mobile version of the wallet will be released in November 2021. In December, they announced that they would be bidding in Dutch auction format for access to the beta version of the iOS app, but these plans were abandoned under pressure from the community.
The Android product received a set of functions similar to the iOS application. Users can send, receive and exchange digital assets, including DeFi tokens and NFTs.
According to a press release, more than 50,000 people took part in beta testing the app.
Recall that in January 2021, operator Phantom closed a Series B funding round led by venture capital firm Paradigm for $109 million.
