We already know that OnePlus is gearing up to launch its first foldable smartphone and the latest in the popular Nord series of mid-range devices. And now, it seems, the launch of these models is not far away.

OnePlus Fold and Nord 3 launch could take place in July-August 2023

The news came from known informant Abhishek Yadav, who shared the information on Twitter. In a tweet, he shared an image of the official poster of OnePlus Road Trip Futurebound. This poster reads “Discover the best of OnePlus” and lists the period as “June 16 – August 19”. So, the whistleblower believes the OnePlus Nord 3 will launch on or shortly after June 16, and the OnePlus Fold model will launch on August 19 or earlier.

Unfortunately, these were all the details the informant shared. But from what we know so far, the Fold model will feature an 8-inch QHD+ foldable OLED display alongside a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED panel. It is also said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Nord 3, on the other hand, is a mid-range smartphone said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and a 6.73-inch tall 1.5K AMOLED display.

For those who don’t know, OnePlus Road Trip Futurebound is the company’s latest ad campaign that is about to begin its journey. This roadshow will take it to the Royal Global University in Guwahati, India, and OnePlus is expected to unveil the upcoming mid-range device during the journey.
