Making password sharing paid did Netflix: subscriber numbers increased even more than COVID time

Netflix took a step a few weeks ago to upset its users in some countries like US and UK. The giant platform had limited password sharing, which was previously free, in its decision. Users in these countries now had to pay an additional $7.99 to share their passwords with other users who were not from the same household.

This move of the company was criticized by many customers. Surprisingly, however, data shared by Antenna, a data research firm, showed that the new move worked for Netflix.

Password sharing for a fee has increased Netflix subscribers!
