Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 12C in a new memory configuration in the Indian market. The company has launched a new version of the budget smartphone with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that it announced earlier this week.

If we talk about the device itself first, the 12C of the Chinese technology giant has a long 6.71-inch display with HD + resolution and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Redmi 12C is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery that supports standard 10W charging. It has a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 50-megapixel dual camera on the back.

Other key features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, fingerprint scanner, microUSB port for data transfer and charging, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. The device runs Android 13 MIUI 13 out of the box, and the newer 4GB+128GB version is just below its 6GB sibling. This variant of the smartphone is priced under 10k INR which makes it an affordable entry-level device.

The official price of the new Redmi 12C 4GB+128GB model is INR 9,999 and will go on sale in India on June 22. It will be available in a variety of color options, including lavender purple, matte black, mint green and royal blue. . Earlier, the company launched the 4GB + 64GB version along with the 6GB model priced at INR 8,999. So this configuration will be in the middle of the base and top options.
