OnePlus is expected to announce the OnePlus 12 in China in December this year. Ahead of the expected launch, rumors about the OP12’s design and all its features had already spread. OnePlus launched the OnePlus 11 5G in the global market, including India, in February. Therefore, OnePlus 12 is also predicted to launch in the global market around February 2024. However, a tweet from trusted insider Max Jambor indicates that the OP12 will make its global launch sooner than expected.

Max Jambor, known for accurate OnePlus leaks, claimed that the global launch of the OnePlus 12 is scheduled for January. Notably, the OnePlus 12 is expected to launch simultaneously in all markets outside of China, including India.

According to the latest reports, the OnePlus 12 will feature a 6.7-inch curved-edge AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, enhanced with LTPO technology for adaptive refresh rate. There will be a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The rear camera setup of the OnePlus 12 will consist of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX9 series primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B unit with OIS support and 3x optical zoom.

In terms of hardware, the device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which will be introduced at the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit 2023 event in October. It is expected to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

On the software front, the OP12 is expected to ship with Android 14 with OxygenOS 14 on top. It is said to pack a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
