Moto Razr 40 Ultra test shows how flexible the clamshell shell is

Foldable smartphones are still a niche category in the market, and many are still concerned about their overall durability. But Motorola’s latest Razr 40 Ultra is surprisingly more powerful than it looks.

in the last video JerryRigEverything The company’s flagship folding smartphone has passed a series of rigorous tests. This includes a scratch test, a burn test, and even a bend test. Starting from the scratch test, we can see that the Moto Razr 40 Ultra’s screen begins to show visual signs of scratches quite easily, even at levels 2 and 3. But the outer panel did a much better job and lasted until lap 7.

In the burn-in test, the outer panel lasted for up to 20 seconds, once again outstripping the main flexible display. At the same time, the internal display took only 6 seconds. During the scratch test, the power and volume buttons were scratched on the device, but they still work fine. Zach also covered the foldable phone with plenty of dust to test its IP52 rating. However, this does not seem to have affected the mounting mechanism of the device at all.

For the final test, the Moto Razr 40 Ultra passed a bend test to test its durability. The flexible panel of the smartphone, which managed not to break and not cause any problems, came to the rescue. However, the glass of the outer panel was completely broken. Despite all these violations, the device still worked well.
